Thuật ngữ La-tinh trong lĩnh vực pháp lý

Ad hoc (adj): Chỉ dùng cho việc này (for this purpose); đột xuất (not planned in advance)
Ad litem (adj & adv): Cho mục đích của vụ kiện, được tòa chỉ định (for the purposes of the lawsuit being prosecuted)
Ad valorem (adj & adv): Theo giá trị (according to value)
Affidavit (n): Bản khai làm chứng (witnessed, signed statement)
Alias (adv) & (noun): Còn có tên là (otherwise known as); tên giả (a false name)
Alibi (n): Bằng chứng ngoại phạm (evidence that proves that a person was in another place at the time of a crime and so could not have committed it)
